Frank & Brown began working with Gather & Gather in early 2015 with the brief to educate and inform the facilities, workplace and catering sector about the role of food at work and its place in workplace strategy. The business has gone from strength to strength and is now part of CH&CO.
The catering industry knew about Gather & Gather already – the business had made an impression with its roots in street food and an approach that challenged the traditional catering model. We set about establishing direct relationships with editors and pundits in FM, talking up the brand and asserting the link between great food and workplace strategies around wellbeing and employee engagement. In parallel to this we needed to ensure the catering media knew about the progress Gather & Gather was making and its pursuit of food ideals and its determination to drive change in the market.
All of this was achieved via a series of articles and news reports in the first eighteen months of our work with significant coverage gained in a variety of media and journalists actively seeking out spokespeople from Gather & Gather to comment on key issues about food and workplace.
The media relations and consultancy advice provide have served to complement the marketing and business development of the business – pushing the values, championing the vision and beliefs of the organisation and its brand.It is an exciting and different journey that has a long to go yet.
